Ignite potential with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario as an Employment Specialist in a supportive environment. Focus on employability skills training while fostering community connections and individual growth.
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of employability skills training programs tailored to participant needs. Your responsibilities include assisting in recruiting eligible participants, creating individualized Employment Action Plans, and providing guidance. Additionally, you will collaborate with community organizations and employers to enhance outreach and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop flexible curriculum for employability skills training
• Assist with participant recruitment and individualized plans
• Deliver training in group and one-to-one formats
• Liaise with community organizations for workshops
• Provide one-on-one employment advice to participants
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Proficient in MS Office and virtual delivery
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience in organizational and planning tasks
• Current Criminal Record Check is mandatory
