St. Clair College seeks a knowledgeable part-time instructor for the School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeships. Applicants should have a minimum of three years of relevant job experience and a Powerline journeyperson Certificate of Qualification. You will play a crucial role in educating students, enhancing their practical skills and employability in the powerline sector. Availability for teaching during day and night hours is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging courses focused on Powerline technology
• Mentor aspiring technicians and apprentices
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences in labs
• Ensure flexibility for various teaching schedules
• Follow the collective agreement for part-time contracts
Requirements:
• At least three years of industry experience
• Valid 434A Powerline journeyperson Certificate
• Experience in teaching is an asset
• Willingness to work varying hours
• Supportive of diversity and inclusion in education
