Teach secondary Geography and English courses as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher with the Upper Canada District School Board. This Semester One assignment carries 1.0 FTE.
The UCDSB is hiring a Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher for CGC1W, ENG2D/2P, and OLC4O. The position is part of an existing vacancy and ends January 29, 2027, or when the incumbent returns, whichever comes first. The assignment represents 0.5 FTE annually.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach assigned Semester One secondary courses
- Deliver instruction for Geography and English courses
- Support the existing vacancy assignment through its end date
- Participate in interviews and assessment processes
- Provide required references during selection
- Hold an Ontario College of Teachers certificate in good standing
- Possess Intermediate Geography qualifications
- Possess Intermediate English qualifications
- Possess Senior English qualifications
- Provide current and two most recent direct supervisors
