Shape institutional equity and anti-racism strategy at the University of Waterloo with expert facilitation and project management. The position is full-time and permanent.
As a senior-level leader, you will oversee the Education and Outreach Unit within the EDI-RO. Your portfolio advances competency and capacity building, policy implementation, research, and transformative cultural change. You will work with senior leaders, faculty, staff, students, and external communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction to the Education and Outreach Unit
- Represent education and anti-racism initiatives across campus
- Evaluate policies, practices, and programs for recommendations
- Deliver competency-building sessions to senior leaders
- Oversee research, monitoring, and educational content development
- Significant experience leading complex teams in institutional environments
- Demonstrated community engagement with marginalized communities
- Experience effecting policy, procedural, practical, and behavioral change
- Proven project management and team leadership ability
- Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
Use strategic leadership, research, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement to advance equity and anti-racism across Waterloo’s university community.
