Support classroom instruction at Spirit of Math Willowdale as a part time Assistant Teacher, developing lesson delivery and student support skills.
This developmental pathway prepares you for Primary Teacher progression through classroom exposure and performance-based advancement. You will work alongside the Primary Teacher, lead assigned activities, and support student learning. The role includes targeted assistance, homework sessions, classroom flow, and assessment support.
Key Responsibilities:- Support lesson delivery alongside the Primary Teacher
- Lead assigned groupwork, drills, and core topics
- Provide targeted support to new and struggling students
- Maintain classroom flow and student behavior expectations
- Assist with marking, attendance, and Brightspace updates
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree
- Complete mandatory vulnerability background screening
- Pass FTM 1 and FTM 2
- Commit to regular weekly shifts and professional conduct
Build classroom experience through instructional support, student assistance, assessment tasks, and performance-based Primary Teacher progression.
