Use Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry knowledge to guide students at Oxford Learning Waterloo Eastbridge in a part-time, in-person teaching role. Strong math skills and clear communication are central.
This teacher-tutor position supports students developing confidence across senior mathematics and science subjects. Oxford Learning Waterloo Eastbridge welcomes candidates with relevant degrees, teaching certification, or tutoring experience. You will work with Grades 9 to 12 learners, including Advanced Functions, Calculus, Vectors, Physics, and Chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide student understanding in mathematics and science
- Teach learners at different levels simultaneously
- Apply Oxford Learning teaching methodologies
- Record post-lesson notes accurately
- Provide daily student communication updates
- Strong mathematics skills and ability to explain concepts
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or similar certification
- Current Grades 11-12 curriculum knowledge
- Some Grade 9 to 12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Ability to multitask with up to three students
