The Energy Supervisor will coordinate maintenance strategies while supervising skilled trades within a unionized manufacturing environment. A minimum of three years’ experience in industrial maintenance and strong technical skills in electrical or mechanical systems are essential. This role involves developing energy-saving initiatives, coordinating safety measures, and enhancing overall equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage energy tracking and monitoring initiatives
• Supervise maintenance and operating schedules
• Identify and implement energy savings projects
• Prepare and submit rebate applications
• Lead engagement and coaching sessions for skilled trades employees
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in maintenance
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
