Advance your career with Nova Scotia Power as a Full-Time Powerline Technician in Windsor. This temporary role focuses on line maintenance, customer service, and safe work practices in a full-time on-site setting.
The chosen candidate will join the Regional Operations team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while performing line maintenance and construction. Proficiency in Powerline Technician skills is essential, along with a valid Class 3 Nova Scotia Driver's License. You'll engage in both on-the-job training and competency development to enhance your skill set during the term.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform line maintenance and construction tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and practices
• Participate in training and skill development programs
• Respond to customer service needs effectively
• Travel to various locations across the province
Requirements:
• Inter-provincial Red Seal Powerline Technician Certificate
• Valid Class 3 Nova Scotia Driver's License
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience
• Proven troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
