At Northumberland Ferries Limited, we are seeking proactive 3rd Class Engineers who will play an essential role in maintaining our vessels' functionality. This full-time job offers year-round opportunities, working primarily from Wood Islands, PE, and Caribou, NS, and will require maintenance, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on engineering systems
• Perform Engine Room watches and inspections
• Maintain planned maintenance documentation
• Update logbooks and records accurately
• Guide and supervise Oilers during shifts
Requirements:
• Certificate of Competency as 3rd Class Engineer
• Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate
• Knowledgeable in operational standards and SMS
• Strong communication and safety mindset
• Experience with passenger services beneficial
