Vision Zero Technician

Join the City of Windsor as a Vision Zero Technician, focusing on road safety initiatives and data analysis. Contribute to the Vision Zero Road Safety Plan while collaborating with the community and stakeholders.

This full-time position requires a strong background in traffic engineering and road safety, with a minimum of three years' experience.

Your role will involve collecting and analyzing traffic data, preparing work orders, and drafting technical reports to ensure alignment with Vision Zero goals. The City values candidates familiar with specialized Traffic Engineering Software and adopting Vision Zero principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Vision Zero Road Safety Plan initiatives

• Collect and analyze traffic-related data and complaints

• Prepare work orders and maintain databases

• Conduct site visits for safety assessments

• Draft reports and coordinate with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering diploma or equivalent

• Over three years' traffic engineering experience

• Valid Class 'G' Driver's Licence

• Knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manuals

• Strong report writing and presentation skills
