Position: Full-Time 2nd Class Engineer Role
Location: Belle River

Operating out of Wood Islands, PE, and Caribou, NS, this role demands proficiency in vessel operations and team management. You will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to safety and pollution regulations while supervising the engine room crew. Engage actively during sailing seasons and lead maintenance efforts in the off-season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise machinery operations and engineer watch duties

• Ensure machinery maintenance and hygiene are upheld

• Report equipment issues to the Chief Engineer

• Maintain logbooks and safety records accurately

• Manage compliance with environmental standards

Requirements:

• Certificate of Competency as 2nd Class Marine Engineer

• Comprehensive knowledge of machinery operations

• Proven track record in safety management

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Required Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
