Responsibilities Drive flawless launches at assigned supplier sites, collaborating with the Launch STA team (e.g., Schedule A, PPAP).
Resolve supplier quality issues and promptly escalatie significant issues with a date to green plan to appropriate management.
Conduct onsite evaluation visits for priority commodities as per the GPDS supplier engagement process for new programs.
Support capacity studies interfacing with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
Review supplier incremental tooling work plans for compliance to PPAP requirements.
Implement capacity/uplift actions with suppliers in line with GCP study requirements.
Resolve supplier process capacity issues as needed.
Mitigate production constraint risks by working with the company and supplier teams, managing date to green plans.
Monitor supply status of 24/7 roster suppliers and the Blue bar status of PPAPs beyond implementation timing.
Review supplier Capacity Analysis Reports (CAR) for compliance to capacity requirements.
Drive robust supplier failure mode avoidance through PFMEA, SCCAF, and CP reviews.
Conduct manufacturing feasibility reviews and deploy health charts as applicable.
Ensure supplier manufacturing health chart compliance and support development of new health charts.
Address special process compliance with the support of STA Technical Specialists.
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing excellence at assigned sites through Q1-MSA deployment, Q1 attainment/retention, health chart deployment, and supplier training.
Deploy and improve quality performance requirements (Q1, QR, TGW, R/1000, CPU) through reduction, benchmarking, lean manufacturing, G8D methodology, PFMEA, SPC, and Gage R&R.
Drive new supplier site evaluations and supplier risk assessments on new sourcing in support of GCST, identifying risk mitigation.
Close supplier process quality issues related to stop‑ship/build, BSAQ, field action stop, ship/prevent action, and drive compliance with all organizational and corporate training requirements and SIM process compliance.
Required
Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a WES‑evaluated equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing processes of the responsible component commodities and process control.
Experience in quality systems, tools and techniques.
Project management experience.
Supply/crisis management experience.
Knowledge of AIAG APQP, problem‑solving, machining, PPAP processes, quality control, quality assurance/control.
Preferred
Skills & Qualifications Experience leading multiple assignments with demanding timelines.
Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations.
Compensation & Benefits $38.00 – $42.00 per hour depending on experience.
Paid benefits after 90 days (individual and family), including extended medical, out‑of‑country coverage, dental, etc.
Pension eligibility with employer match after one full year of work (open enrollment every October).
