Position: KBE Engineer for BIW Structures
Join MEDA Limited as a KBE Engineer specializing in BIW structures, focusing on metal design and CAD modeling. This hybrid role involves managing upper body components onsite in Windsor, Ontario, with travel to the USA required.

As an experienced KBE Engineer with a focus on BIW, you will oversee the design, development, and release of upper body components. A strong background in machine design engineering, Catia/NX modeling, and vehicle systems is essential for this role. You will be involved in creating technical documentation, managing engineering validations, and providing plant launch support to enhance manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design and development of BIW upper body components

• Utilize Catia/NX for CAD modeling and development

• Collaborate with suppliers and vehicle body shops for manufacturability

• Define engineering validation plans and coordinate testing

• Create and maintain KBE design templates and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

• 5 years in automotive sheet metal development

• Proficient in NX, Teamcenter, and PLM systems

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and validation testing

• Effective communication and project presentation skills
