Drive design and development as a KBE Engineer in Windsor, Ontario, with a competitive pay of $45.00 per hour. Focus on upper body components while ensuring manufacturability and performance objectives.
In this pivotal role at Stellantis, you'll manage the design and release processes for BIW upper body components. Collaborate closely with external suppliers and internal teams to meet project milestones. Your expertise in CAD software and metal forming techniques will be crucial for engineering validations and technical documentation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage design and release of BIW upper body components
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for manufacturability
• Develop and manage CBOMs and quadris for subassemblies
• Create and manage technical documentation with stakeholders
• Provide onsite support during plant launches to resolve issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• 5 years in automotive sheet metal development
• Proficient in CAD software and PLM systems
• Strong knowledge of metal forming techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
