Position: Laboratory Technician Role
Join WSP’s Laboratory Group in Windsor, Ontario, as a Laboratory Technician focusing on hands-on testing of construction materials. Engage in critical testing and support infrastructure safety through quality results.

This essential role involves conducting laboratory tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt to ensure compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology and experience in soils laboratory work. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to health and safety are crucial for success in this team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing on various construction materials

• Produce accurate and timely test documentation

• Support CCIL certification activities and reporting

• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety practices

• Collaborate with project teams and clients for project success

Requirements:

• Post-secondary technical education in Civil Engineering Technology

• 1-5 years of soils laboratory experience

• Knowledge of lab testing procedures (ASTM, AASHTO)

• Experience with CCIL certification processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
