Join Masco Canada as an On-Site Mechatronics Engineer based in St. Thomas, ON, and make a difference in plumbing product innovation. This full-time role merges mechanical engineering with embedded systems.
In this pivotal role on the Advanced Engineering team, you will apply your 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electronic system development to create effective plumbing solutions. You’ll design and analyze IR/capacitance sensors while implementing industry-leading practices for product feasibility and compliance testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine design specifications and address technical risks ensuring successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electronic systems and embedded software for plumbing
• Evaluate product concepts for feasibility and cost alignment
• Conduct tests and prepare technical reports on findings
• Collaborate with Product Managers for design specifications
• Implement troubleshooting methodologies for product issues
Requirements:
• 5 years of professional experience in engineering disciplines
• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
• Proficient in 3D CAD software and development tools
• Knowledge of microcontroller programming using C or Python
• Experienced in developing compliance testing and analysis
