This role involves supporting the Division Leader in various planning activities. You will engage closely with staff and external professionals, conducting surveys and preparing documentation. This internship is ideal for students committed to urban and regional planning looking for practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in responding to planning-related enquiries

• Review land use proposals against policies

• Maintain the Municipalities database for applications

• Track the status of planning-related issues

• Create maps and illustrations for planning projects

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a relevant college or university program

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Understanding of land use planning principles

• Experience with GIS and MS Office Suite

• Familiarity with design software like Sketch Up
