Community Planning Co-op Student Position

Location: belle river

This co-op position reports to the Division Leader of Community Planning. You will assist with daily inquiries, review land use proposals, and update the Municipalities database. Ideal for students in Urban or Regional Planning, this role builds skills essential for a successful career in planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond daily to planning inquiries efficiently

• Review land use proposals for policy conformance

• Update municipal database for planning applications

• Record and track status of planning matters

• Develop mapping visuals and project illustrations
Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Urban & Regional Planning program

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Familiar with land use planning principles

• Proficient in GIS and MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
