Transportation Engineer

Position: Active Transportation Engineer Role
Become an integral part of the City of Windsor as an Active Transportation Engineer. Focus on innovative projects that enhance community mobility and active transportation.
In this full-time position within Public Works Operations, you will implement the Active Transportation Master Plan through project management, design preparation, and stakeholder engagement.

Your role includes maintaining strong relationships with city departments, consultants, and the public to ensure successful outcomes. Stay current with industry standards and represent the city in community discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute active transportation project designs and documentation

• Maintain relationships with various city divisions

• Participate in public meetings and project presentations

• Oversee support staff activities as assigned

• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field

• Minimum four years of engineering experience

• Eligibility for P.Eng designation

• Experience in traffic and roadway management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
