Enhance automotive designs as a Product Engineer in Windsor, ON. This full-time role focuses on developing body structures and battery housing systems while ensuring quality and cost targets are met.
We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will lead product development for automotive body structures while collaborating with OEM customers. Key tasks include creating and modifying models, optimizing designs, and ensuring manufacturability to meet customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design for BIW body structures and battery housings
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA or NX
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams
• Optimize designs for performance and cost targets
• Manage engineering changes and prototype builds
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical or related Engineering
• 5+ years in automotive body structure design
• Proficient in CATIA or NX
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, and Control Plans
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
