This full-time position is essential for implementing the Vision Zero objectives. You will analyze traffic data, investigate complaints, and prepare reports for Council approval to ensure community safety. Engage with public concerns, conduct site visits, and help improve road safety throughout Windsor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Vision Zero Road Safety Plan initiatives
• Analyze traffic data and recommend safety improvements
• Prepare work orders for traffic safety enhancements
• Conduct assessments of safety hazards in the community
• Coordinate with stakeholders for road safety projects
Requirements:
• Three-year diploma in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• Over three years in traffic engineering or road safety
• Valid Class 'G' Driver’s License
• Knowledge of Ontario Traffic Manuals and Highway Traffic Act
• Strong technical report writing and presentation skills
