At Plasman, based in Windsor Tooling, we seek a skilled Designer responsible for assisting in various design areas. You will collaborate with engineers and managers to refine designs, ensure compliance with customer standards, and maintain ISO documentation. Your ability to manage projects effectively while adhering to quality and aesthetics will be crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review designs with Engineering and Program Management
• Conduct engineering change assessments with team leads
• Determine parting lines and necessary mechanisms
• Create preliminary and final designs for approval
• Maintain compliance with ISO documentation
Requirements:
• 3 years in tool and mold design
• Proficient in Catia V5 preferred
• Degree in Design, Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
