In this role, you will develop, validate, and apply electrical and thermal models for battery cells and packs. With at least 2 years of experience in simulation tools, you’ll utilize your depth of knowledge in battery fundamentals and high-voltage electrical circuits to create robust models. Your expertise will support safety and performance improvements in battery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop physics-based and empirical simulation models
• Conduct 1D studies on battery behavior under various conditions
• Analyze test data to refine model parameters
• Collaborate with design engineers on performance optimization
• Prepare technical documentation summarizing simulation results
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Physics
• Minimum 2 years of simulation tool experience
• Hands-on with GT-SUITE or MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
