Senior Mold Designer

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Mold Designer in Windsor, ON. This full-time position focuses on creating intricate mold designs for various plastic injection applications.

Our engineering department is looking for a skilled Senior Mold Designer with at least five years of Siemens NX experience and six years in plastic injection mold design. You will be responsible for developing part models, maintaining design documentation, and leading design reviews.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects meet quality standards while mentoring junior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed mold designs for injection molding processes

• Develop feasibility studies to support manufacturing solutions

• Execute Engineering Work Order design changes

• Lead design reviews and verify deliverable quality

• Collaborate with teams to ensure manufacturability

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with Siemens NX

• 6+ years in plastic injection mold design

• Strong understanding of injection molded plastics

• Excellent communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities critical for design challenges
