Design Systems Engineer

Join MEDA Limited as a Design Systems Application Engineer in Windsor, Ontario, supporting automotive projects. This hands-on role requires on-site presence and travel across North America to enhance system performance.

As a Design Systems Application Engineer, you will lead initiatives with the Chief Engineering team and ensure seamless integration of driveline systems. You will manage interactions between various components and subsystems, perform design reviews, and drive technical cost reduction efforts. Your expertise will be crucial to uphold quality standards and transparency in design controls, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage system interactions within the driveline system

• Organize hardware system design reviews and approvals

• Ensure complete transparency in DFMEA/DRBFM reviews

• Collaborate on FTE and ER&D cost rollup development

• Lead Technical Cost Reductions and Value Optimization efforts

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 80% GPA in graduate/undergraduate studies

• Strong communication skills for leadership presentations

• Willingness to work onsite and travel without restrictions
