Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Vehicle Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Vehicle Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Packaging Engineer

Location: Windsor, ON

What's the Job?

Manage packaging criteria and bogey models to support feasible CDD (Conceptual Digital Data) surface development.

Support PDO (Product Design Office) clay properties, mock-ups, and spaciousness property builds, coordinating fabrication and modeling staff.

Provide milling/SLA data for clay model milling and rapid prototype parts.

Chair weekly working-level meetings to ensure project alignment and progress.

Manage cross-functional team requirements, including ASME, AME, VI, HMI, Safety & BCIW, ensuring project milestones are met.

What's Needed?

Experience in vehicle packaging or related engineering fields.

Strong understanding of digital and physical modeling processes.

Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

Ability to challenge engineering requirements to achieve aesthetic goals.

Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
