Product Engineer: Body Structure Design

We are looking for a Product Engineer to take charge of the development for body structures and battery housings. In this role, you will be the main customer liaison, tasked with creating detailed CAD models and ensuring that all designs adhere to performance and safety criteria. Managing design changes and attending customer meetings will be vital to success in this dynamic position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with OEM teams to refine structural product designs

• Utilize CATIA and NX for CAD modeling and drawing modifications

• Conduct feasibility checks and address assembly challenges

• Select appropriate materials for product development

• Document and analyze design specifications and validations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area

• Over 5 years of experience in automotive body design

• Knowledge of aluminum and steel product design is a plus

• Familiar with DFMEA and quality control processes

• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills
