This role emphasizes the planning and design of highways and municipal roads in Ontario. You will be responsible for alignments, safety features, and gathering field data. Your expertise with design software and collaboration with municipal clients will drive the success of various transportation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design alignments, profiles, and cross-sections
• Ensure safety and drainage designs are effective
• Prepare and manage project drawings and documents
• Collect field data and maintain records
• Execute technical procedures and safe work practices
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in civil engineering technology
• Diploma in Engineering Technology required
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and roadway design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be eligible for Ontario Engineering Technologists certification
