This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI.
We are seeking a Junior Automotive Designer to support the design and development of automotive components and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Engineering graduate with automotive co‑op/internship experience and hands‑on exposure to CAD and mechanical design through academic projects or previous experience.
Responsibilities:- Support the design and development of automotive components from concept through production.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
. - Assist with design reviews, engineering changes, and documentation.
- Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and vehicle integration activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design and vehicle-related issues.
- Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
- Apply GD&T, engineering standards, and design best practices.
