Drive innovation in electrical design at Hatch as a Mine Electrical Infrastructure Engineer in Sudbury, Ontario. This role involves technical leadership and project execution within mining infrastructure.
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our Mining Infrastructure Engineering team. In this position, you'll contribute to electrical systems design across all project phases, collaborating with diverse teams both locally and internationally.
Your role will encompass assessments and delivery of both surface and underground mining-related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical engineering teams for mining projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Prepare and check calculations and equipment specifications
• Develop conceptual designs and technical reports
• Ensure effective communication within project teams
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in an EPCM or similar environment
• Professional Engineer designation in Canada
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in SPEL, ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, and ASPEN
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
