About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Project Manager to drive critical projects within the automotive industry in East London . This role is essential for managing the development and implementation of new automotive technologies, production processes, or product launches. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and innovation.

This on-site position is crucial for hands-on management and collaboration within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the automotive sector.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Communicate project status, key milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes specific to automotive manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving product development, manufacturing, or process improvement.
  • Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949).
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
