As the Assistant Controller, you will oversee complex financial processes, prepare comprehensive monthly reports, and present findings to senior management. Your analytical skills will help identify trends and cost-saving opportunities in our greenhouse operations, ensuring financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the Farm general ledger for accurate accounting
• Conduct month-end processing, reporting, and reconciliations
• Generate detailed consolidated financial statements
• Present financial insights to the executive team regularly
• Review expenditures with the operations team for savings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related fields
• In-depth GAAP knowledge and reporting standards experience
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills required
• Experience with financial modeling and reporting software
• Prior assistant controller or relevant experience preferred
