Key Responsibilities:

• Review development applications for zoning compliance

• Provide zoning information to the public and professionals

• Assist lawyers with zoning inquiries via various communication methods

• Represent the Planning Department at committee meetings

• Map and record by-law amendments as received

Requirements:

• Three-year diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, or Architecture

• Over three years of experience with zoning by-laws

• Ability to interpret construction plans and legal agreements

• Knowledge of municipal by-laws and Ontario Planning Act

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
