The hiring rate for this role is $22.28 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

A Unique Family Culture

As a new Housekeeping & Laundry Team Member joining our Village Team, you will:

Handle Resident’s personal items with care and respect

Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team

Carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village

Maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment and be comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs

Co-operate with all Departments to assure safe, continual operation and efficiency

Review all policy and procedure manuals annually and/or when changes occur

Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support

Assets, but not required, as Schlegel Villages provides training to the successful candidate:

Have experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
