Become a Personal Support Worker with AFIMAC Canada, catering to clients in Southwestern Ontario. This temporary role involves substantial travel and 84-hour work weeks, with provided accommodations.
Successful candidates will need to provide reliable personal care, support individuals with developmental challenges, and effectively manage crisis situations. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Individual Support Plans for clients
• Consistently document daily care activities
• Provide personal care for daily living needs
• Assist clients in standing, walking, and mobility
• Support clients’ overall emotional and physical health
Requirements:
• PSW or DSW certification preferred
• Strong crisis management abilities
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Current or willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• Legal entity to work full-time in Canada
