Contribute to community health as a Registered Practical Nurse at Windsor Essex Community Health Centre. This temporary full-time role offers opportunities for patient-focussed care and collaboration.
At the weCHC Leamington site, you will interact with clients facing unique health challenges, ensuring they receive high-quality assessments and support. This position suits nurses with 3-5 years of experience and emphasizes flexibility, effective communication, and patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include maintaining equipment and participating in community outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health assessments and counselling for patients
• Engage in community partnerships and public speaking
• Collaborate with team members to maintain resources
• Document clinical assessments and patient progress
• Fulfill additional duties as needed to support organizational goals
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of nursing experience in relevant settings
• Strong organizational and personal care skills
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Class G Driver's License for travel between sites
• Basic Rescuer (C) Certificate and police clearance check
