Extendicare is hiring a Restorative Aide responsible for implementing restorative programs for residents in long-term care settings. This role includes excellent communication with various stakeholders and maintaining important records related to resident participation in activities. You will work ethically to uphold Extendicare’s core values while facilitating a nurturing environment for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and implement restorative activities for residents

• Record assessments and evaluations accurately

• Foster effective communication with residents and families

• Promote team collaboration in care delivery

• Follow Extendicare’s ethical guidelines and standards

Requirements:

• Must have a Restorative certificate or equivalent

• Experience with senior populations, preferably in long-term care

• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking

• Computer skills advantageous

• Capacity to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
