Position: Registered Practical Nurse with Leadership Focus
Lead resident care as a Registered Practical Nurse dedicated to teamwork and compassion. This position centers around enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.

As a pivotal member of our healthcare team, you will report to the Director of Care and oversee the implementation of personalized care for residents.

Your role will involve supervising staff, coordinating care efforts, and ensuring communication between families and the healthcare team. You will also be responsible for performance evaluations and maintaining care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the modification of care plans for residents

• Supervise unit activities and manage PSWs

• Monitor resident health and progress, documenting appropriately

• Process and administer treatments as per physician orders

• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff

Requirements:

• Current RN or equivalent certification in Ontario

• CPR certification and experience in long-term care preferred

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of RAI-MDS or commitment to acquire

• Complete a Vulnerable Sector Check for employment
