Personal Support Worker

Sign on Bonus up to $500.

We are currently looking for certified Personal Support Workers to fill positions travelling throughout Essex County and surrounding areas. Must be able to work every other weekend.

As an integral part of the home and community care team, you will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community setting by assisting with activities of daily living.

What you’ll do

Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan

Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life

What you bring

Applicants for this position must have a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.

Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients

Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patient’s residences within a geographical area

This is a Union Position – Service Employees International Union Local 1 Canada, Windsor Essex County.

Union Classification:
Personal Support Services (PSS).

Salary: LHIN Funded PSS Rates as per Collective Agreement.

Location:

County Area, Erie St. Clair District.

Time Type:
Part time.

Compensation Details: $21.13 - $23.89.
