Be a vital part of enriching lives as a Program Aide. This part-time role focuses on planning and delivering impactful recreational programs from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work under the guidance of the Programs Manager to evaluate and implement engaging activities tailored to meet residents' needs. Your efforts will foster significant connections with those you serve, ensuring enjoyable and meaningful experiences for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain documentation for program tracking and assessments
• Plan and execute innovative recreational initiatives
• Organize outings and community engagement events
• Adapt programming in response to resident input
• Communicate effectively with residents and families
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in recreation, gerontology or similar field
• Experience working with seniors and in program evaluation
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
