The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead the development and execution of behavioral programs. In this position, you'll conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and collaborate with staff to implement effective strategies. You'll be instrumental in guiding students with autism and developmental challenges towards achieving their personal and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and language evaluations
• Create individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessments
• Analyze collected data to adjust behavioral strategies
• Provide training and support to staff and parents
• Lead training sessions on crisis prevention and intervention techniques
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or equivalent
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required
• Deep understanding of special education laws and ethical conduct
• Experience in training staff for effective behavior management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
