In this role, you will independently perform autopsies, prepare tissues for evaluation, and assist in surgical specimen examinations while under the guidance of a pathologist. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for autopsies by arranging medical records

• Assist and perform autopsies with supervision

• Examine, dissect, and photograph organs and specimens

• Prepare bodies for funeral home release

• Supervise grossing activities and morgue facilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent

• Certification from an accredited PA program

• 3-5 years related experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and surgical techniques

• Proficient in maintaining records and electronic communication
