Location: Belle River
Enhance quality of life as a Personal Support Worker at Lakeshore Residence in Belle River, Ontario. This full-time night position is focused on compassionate care and resident well-being.
Lakeshore Residence is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity. As part of a collaborative care team, you’ll engage in person-centered care, ensuring residents feel valued and connected.
Your role will include monitoring well-being, documenting care activities, and maintaining a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health
• Document care in electronic health records accurately
• Communicate professionally with residents and team members
• Uphold health and safety standards in the residence
Requirements:
• PSW certification from an approved program (600+ hours)
• Experience in person-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
• TB test and vaccination proof needed
