The Village ir is seeking a passionate individual to fill a temporary part-time Recreation Aide role for 30 hours biweekly. To thrive, you need a diploma or degree in recreation studies or gerontology.

You'll work with in a multidisciplinary team and build meaningful relationships with residents and staff, ensuring a high quality of life.

• Plan and implement engaging recreational programs

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Foster exemplary relationships with residents and team members

• Support a resident-centered social culture

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or completed recreation or gerontology studies

• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles

• Understanding of the Long-Term Care Homes Act

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Willing to engage in ongoing personal development
