Support residents as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Kingsville, Ontario, providing essential care under a Physiotherapist's direction. Help implement treatment programs and assist residents in achieving their therapy goals.

This role at a Long Term Care facility involves working closely with residents to facilitate group and one-on-one exercises as outlined by the supervising Physiotherapist. You'll document treatment sessions, monitor health changes, and assist with mobility, ensuring residents' safety and progress. A collaborative attitude and compassion for elderly care are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct group exercises for residents under supervision

• Lead individual exercises as directed by the Physiotherapist

• Document resident's progress after each therapy session

• Assist with safe transferring and movement tasks

• Monitor health status changes and report to the Physiotherapist

Requirements:

• Graduate as a Physiotherapy Assistant or equivalent

• Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities

• Experience in Long Term Care preferred

• Current police check for Vulnerable Sector

• Must reside in Kingsville or surrounding area
