Personal Support Worker

Position: Personal Support Worker at AgeCare

Make a positive impact in residents' lives as a Personal Support Worker with Age Care. You'll provide essential care while monitoring residents and ensuring a safe environment.

As a Personal Support Worker, you play a vital role in maintaining the well-being of residents according to their care plans. You'll observe and report on resident conditions, assist in documenting care-related information, and follow Infection Prevention and Control policies. This position also involves participating in staff training and onboarding new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor care provided to residents and report observations

• Document care-related information as directed

• Attend in-service education sessions and staff meetings

• Assist in onboarding new staff members

• Follow IPAC policies and procedures meticulously

Requirements:

• Graduate from a Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program

• Knowledge of geriatric resident needs and treatments

• Familiarity with sanitation and cleaning techniques

• Meet vocational standards set by relevant associations

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
