Location: Belle River
Join Lakeshore Residence as a full-time Personal Support Worker and create meaningful moments. Support residents in Belle River, Ontario, encouraging independence and comfort.
We are looking for a dedicated Personal Support Worker who embodies our person-centered care philosophy. This full-time role focuses on assisting residents with personal care tasks and daily living activities, all while promoting their dignity and well-being. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Care in a supportive team environment as we prepare for our 2026 opening.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Document care and activities in health records
• Report changes in residents’ well-being to registered staff
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Participate in individualized care planning meetings
Requirements:
• Valid PSW certification from a recognized training program
• Experience with person-centered care practices
• Effective communication skills with residents and coworkers
• Ability to provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check
• TB test or chest X-ray results as per health guidelines
