Join a Long Term Care team in Kingsville, Ontario, as a Physiotherapy Assistant, providing invaluable support to residents in their treatment journeys.
Your role is crucial in facilitating exercises and therapy sessions.
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will operate under the guidance of a Physiotherapist, leading both group and individual exercise sessions to help residents achieve their goals. Documenting treatments, monitoring health changes, and ensuring the safety of residents during exercises are key aspects of your responsibilities. This compassionate role requires dedication and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate group and one-on-one exercise sessions
• Encourage and motivate residents to meet therapeutic goals
• Record treatment progress consistently
• Assist with transfers and mobility assistance
• Report significant health status changes
Requirements:
• Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent
• Strong multi-tasking and pressure management skills
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred
• Valid police check for Vulnerable Sector
• Must live in Kingsville or nearby area
