Life Labs is seeking a Lab Patient Technician responsible for the complete specimen collection process. You will engage with patients, perform necessary tests like phlebotomies, and prepare specimens for transport. This is a float position across Kingsville, Windsor, and Essex, emphasizing customer service and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain specimen collection processes

• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings

• Handle special test collections and documentation

• Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries

• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred

• Phlebotomy experience is an asset

• ECG training or experience advantageous

• Excellent communication and computer skills

• Strong customer service ability and empathy
