Join a dedicated Life Enrichment Team at Sun Parlor Home, where you will develop and implement engaging activities for both groups and individuals. Leveraging your creativity and compassion, you’ll promote social, emotional, and spiritual wellness in a long-term care environment. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure personalized care that celebrates each resident's dignity and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and facilitate therapeutic recreation activities
• Provide one-to-one emotional support for residents
• Document participation and program outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Assist with special events and celebrations
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
• Minimum two years' experience in therapeutic recreation
• Knowledge of person-centred care principles
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to work varied hours
